Transfer and Assembly of Complex The first stage of the project involved the dismantling and relocation of a drying complex from Mt. Maunganui to Te Awamutu Grain's site in Te Puke.
Stage two was the re-assembly of the dryer, a 25 tonne Intake Hopper, 3 x 250 tonne hopper bottom silos for wet grain storage, 6 elevators, 4 conveyors, catwalks a 50 tonne drive under Loadout hopper and cleaner along with the supply and installation of two 1000 tonne Chief silos and aeration system. The transfer of material utilises sweep and withdrawal augers along with bucket elevators and horizontal drag chain conveyors. The intake system brings the grain in at 75tph and the transfer and unloading at 60tph. This was another ‘turnkey' project.
