New Mill, Mount Maunganui

During 2003/4 a new mill was built for Ingham Enterprises on their Mt. Maunganui site. The 26 metre high mill was constructed alongside their existing plant.

The new facility was designed and project managed by South Australian based Ahrens Engineering Pty Ltd with the mechanical handling equipment supplied by Satake Australia Pty Ltd.

JP Marshall's role in the project involved the manufacture and installation of the 30 meal bins (bolted construction) and the 16 load-out bins as well as the installation of the mechanical handling equipment on behalf of Satake Australia.

The 46 bins consumed approximately 80 tonnes of steel and varied in size from 50 tonnes capacity for the meal bins to 70 tonnes capacity for the load out bins.
The bins were manufactured at our Te Rapa Fabrication Shop and transported to site where they were assembled and installed by our on-site team.
